Paul Bunyan by Steven Kellogg

Plan:

Shared Reading: Paul Bunyan

Discussion:

  1. Do we chop down trees the same way today as they did back then?
  2. What do we use use?
  3. Are there any big words in this book that you can tell me what they mean?
  4. How did the Ox help Paul?
  5. How did Paul and his friends get rid of the tree stumps?
  6. Who was Paul's male friend in the story?
  7. How did you feel about Paul chopping down all those trees?

  1. What is a pioneer?
Journal:
