Students will learn how to write fractions for parts of a group.

Materials:

• Sweet Tart packages

Plan:

1. Each student receives his own package of sweet tarts.
2. The teacher calls out a color.
3. The students write what part of their package is that color as a fraction. If they are correct they get to eat that fractional part.
