My Word Book: First Grade Dolch Sight Words Writing Practice

Printable pages can be assembled into a little book with the 1st grade Dolch sight words.

The 11-page black and white file has four panels to a page: a My Word Book cover with a name line, then one panel for each of the 41 first grade Dolch sight words, from after to when. Each panel shows the word on a handwriting line with three more lines below for writing practice. The last two panels are blank.

Ways to use it

• Cut the panels apart and staple them into a little book for each student.
• Have students copy each word on the lines.
• Have students draw a picture or write a sentence with the word in the space above it.
• Send the book home for practice with families.
• Work on a few pages each week as new words are introduced.
• Use the blank panels for extra words from your word wall.
