Pumpkin Ordinal Numbers 1-20

Match the ordinal numbers (first, second, third, fourth…) to the correct numeral. The preview shows 1-10. You can find links to download both 1-10 and 11-20 below.

There are two files, 1-10 and 11-20. Each four-page file has two pages of pumpkins with ordinal words, such as first, second and twentieth, and two pages of pumpkins with the matching numerals, five pumpkins to a page.

Ways to use it

• Cut out the pumpkins and have students match each word to its numeral.
• Put the ordinal word pumpkins in order.
• Line up the pumpkins and ask which pumpkin is third, eighth and so on.
• Use the cards in a pocket chart.
• Have students read the ordinal words aloud.
• Set the cards out at a fall math center.
