These sight word pages can be printed and cut apart into cards for centers, manipulatives, games, etc. Variation: Use full sheets (without cutting apart cards) for students to trace sight words. Laminate and use with dry erase or vis-a-vis markers.

The eight-page file has the 46 second grade Dolch sight words, from always to your, in dotted letters for tracing. There are six cards to a page with an apple picture on each card. The last page has two blank cards.

Ways to use it

• Laminate the cards and have students trace the words with dry erase markers.
• Cut the cards apart for a sight word center or game.
• Have students trace a word, then read it to a partner.
• Use two copies to play a matching game.
• Pull a few cards each week for small group practice.
• Write extra words on the blank cards.
